Inclusivity

Spirit Martial Arts is dedicated to providing Martial Arts excellence to as many people as possible without regard to gender, sexual orientation, race or any other factor. Prejudice has no place on our mats.

We will make all reasonable adjustments to accommodate anyone with special physical needs, neuro diversity or other mental needs provided we are still able to offer you a high quality of tuition and level of achievement.

If you need any adjustments and would like to discuss this further contact:

Simon East

07771 926366

He will be happy to advise and discuss an action plan.

If we cannot provide the service you need we are able to signpost you through our connection to Scope to alternative activities in Leeds:

Scope Activities For All

Scope can also discuss additional support, such as arranging a sessional worker to enable participation in classes short-term, until training and adjustments are in place.

Accessibility

Whether you are student or a family member we will endeavour to make our classes as accessible as possible.

We can discuss your needs and will look to address them in a safe and practical manner. Any additional equipment or support you might reasonably need will be accommodated wherever possible and we will carry out a risk assessment and where appropriate a teaching plan to facilitate this.

Special note on wheel chair access and limited mobility issues:

We are located on the first floor and whilst we would love to be able to provide proper access we simply cannot. To gain access to the building you will need to navigate several steps, a tight turn and climb a narrow set of stairs which you can see in the video tour.
